Had an amazing experience at Peaceful Waters Church where I was invited this past weekend to share about Sacred Life Care Initiative. I was pleasantly welcomed into a space to not only share, but to receive until my heart overflowed with gratitude to be amongst such resonance. Thank you all for the eternal gifts that you shared with me that day. It was truly memorable, these being my takeaways:
~Often the things that slow us down, are what bring us to essential stillness. That stillness creates space for creativity, for breathing–and truly living.~
~Everyone has value. There is no waiting until everything is right to give love.~
~Bear each other’s burdens. This is genuine love.~
“Be known by your love”
One lady touched me profoundly when she shared her testimony addressing her long time pastor in this way: “I try not to worship you, but were it not for you, I might not know God.” While I do not personally hold a unique religious affiliation, all I could think in that moment was how beautiful it is to be the representative of the divine in another’s life. To be the very essence incarnate of love that transforms the lives of others who go on to do the same. The impact in her life struck a chord in me that day that I too will carry forward.
Thank you, Peaceful Waters, for the opportunity to bring the mission of Sacred Life Care Initiative to your congregation, and more importantly, for the gift of shared vision, community, and the powerful reminder of our oneness. Upholding one another in love is not a goal unique to Sacred Life Care Initiative, but it is a shared mission that we carry together.
