Devotion to People, Purpose, & Presence

Kimberly Wamba, PhD
President & Founder
Dr. Kimberly Wamba has always been drawn to the essence of human connection. As a child, she once told her father that she wanted to “wash people like Grandma.” This simple, yet profound expression of the desire to care for others has since woven itself into every chapter of her personal and professional life. While holding the gaze of her father at his own death, she realized that being present was not only a support to him, but it was a shared gift and reminder between them of human connection and honor.
Today, Kimberly answers what has become for her a sacred calling. At the threshold of life and death, she offers her presence, care, and comfort–helping others find meaning, dignity, and peace in their most vulnerable moments.
For Dr. Wamba, our death is as sacred as our birth. Her work is rooted in deep listening and honoring each person’s experience.
“I see this journey as less about about endings and more about living–with dignity, grace, and meaning.”
This work has shown her the urgency of love, the beauty of presence, and the power of simply holding space for another. In every hand she holds, in every story she listens to, she finds the deepest truth of all: that life is most meaningful when we show up for one another. And that is exactly what she continues to do—answering the quiet, sacred call of the heart, one family at a time.
